Mario Garcia started cutting hair in Tijuana, Mexico when he was just 11 years old.
Coming from a family of stylists, his passion and devotion lies within the craft itself, not the industry. For Mario, cutting hair is an experience to be had, for both the customer and the barber.
By the age of 18, Mario had mastered and acquired licenses in both barbering and cosmetology. His devotion led him to become a teacher at a private beauty college where he now provides future professionals the skills techniques needed to succeed in the beauty industry.
As a platform artist for Hair Evolution Professionals, Mario is able to fulfill his passion for barbering while educating and inspiring other artists at the start of their journey.
Realizing that the time was right to open his own shop, Mario opened Évolv Hair Parlor in October of 2016.
Mario speaks proudly of the salon, explaining, "Évolv Hair Parlor is a reflection of sacrifice and dedication to the craft of hair cutting. It's the culmination of my journey and how I share my perspective that it's more than a haircut, it's an experience."
